Where do you usually sit? When you walk into a meeting, get on the bus, or when you attend an event? We are creatures of habits. We like sitting where we were before.
It’s where we feel comfortable, the view is what we are used to. That’s ok – but why not change it once in a while?
If you are used to sitting at the front of the meeting, why not try sitting in the middle, or the back sometimes?
If you are used to walking into the auditorium on the first floor, next time, why not go up to the second floor? Such a simple change of view can show us a different perspective that we may not have seen. A lens into someone else’s view that you may not have understood before. If we always take the seats that we took before, it’s harder for us to think or see things differently.
This week, why don’t we take a different seat in our routines and experience what we see?
What do you see differently?
