Time to Wonder, Wander and Notice the Gratitudes Around Us

T’s the season of the year to celebrate, reflect and pause. How are you doing? How are you stepping into this month with intention, innovators?

While the first few weeks of December may feel like a mad rush to finish all the deadlines and projects before you close out the end of the year, I always look forward to the month of December as a time to pause, and to celebrate, reflect and wonder.

Making time to do nothing after spending all year doing something is, in itself, a moment to cherish. When we suddenly stop running after whatever it is that we’re striving for, and we stop the rush we had felt all year, we start to wonder… what is this all really for? Who is this for?

As I write this message, I’m sitting in my old room at my parent’s place in South Korea. After completing my first in-person workshop in LA in 2 years and now being back in Korea to see my family whom I hadn’t seen in 2 years, this time feels extra special. Yes, despite the 10-day quarantine and restrictions.

It’s funny what you notice and are able to see when you take a step back from your busy cycle. I feel grateful, humbled, honored, and excited. Yes, challenges will continue to come but so will resilience. So to create more again, I hope you make time to rest, pause, wonder, and sit to notice your surroundings with gratitude. Where we are. Where we have been. And where we’ll go.

Thank you for being you and I’m excited for what the new year has in store for you. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!

With love,
